Allow ALL formatting in protected form sections

I've set up a form with sections where users can populate their data. While
users can add tables and paste in any data with any formatting, it does not
look like they can format directly in the document. For example, the bullets
and numbers icons on the Home tab are not available.

While I did create styles for bullets and numbers that users can select,
there will be a lot of people filling out this form and I do not believe that
they will all know how to use styles and formatting, instead they'll look to
those two buttons that are grayed out on the Home tab.

Is there some way to enable these quick buttons on the Home tab for users in
the desired sections of a protected form?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry if this answer is already posted, I've been searching the community
for nearly an hour and haven't found an answer.

Hi Jeanette,

Using Styles has always been the best way to work - even with unprotected documents. They take only a little time to learn and make
the user much more productive. Styles also ensure consistency of layout and make wholesale formatting changes to headers etc much
more efficient.

So, it's time to upgrade your users!
