How do I get bullets to appear when I use the rich text content c.

I am trying to create a section in my "form" where users can format the text
they input. Things like underline, font size, and specifically bullets.

So using Conent Control in the developer tab, I have added a "rich text" box
- but, while I can at least do some formating (bold, italics, etc) it won't
let me bullet or number.

Now sure why. Please help.

Thanks.

I'm not sure why, either. Bullets and numbering work in a rich text
content control here. It also doesn't matter whether the control is
grouped.

Is there anything else unusual about that document?

If you start Word in safe mode (hold the Ctrl key while starting it)
and open the document, can you use bullets and numbers in the control?
That would probably indicate interference from some add-in.

Jay, I've had the same experience but with an anomily:
If I customize the Word Options by adding Styles to the QAT, I can apply
styles from that drop-down but they don't maintain the customized styles as
defined by the template; e.g., indents.

I cannot apply styles from the ribbon Home > Styles list nor from the Home >
Paragraph.
