Formatting hard drive

Im going to format my hard drive because i want to
upgrade to xp. My question is this I am going to use my
restore cds that came with the computer. But since i
have bought my computer i have installed a burner. if i
use the restore cds would my burner still beable to read
the cd to install xp.

Put it in and see. It's autoplay and will start, then exit
or click on my computer then on the burner. you should see
the contents.
