Formatting hard drive and re-installating windows

P

Pete

I need to completly wipe my hard disk and start afresh.
Is there an easy way to format/clean my C: drive.

Your help would be most appreciated

Thanks

Just boot up with your XP disk, reformat the hard drive, then re-install XP.
All data will of course be lost.

Almost forgot. If you have a RESTORE disk, using it may be all that is
necessary. How was the OS installed originally?

Best to remove the existing system partition, then use the free space to
create a new one before formatting. Not doing so often results in a repair
or parallel installation.
