Formatting a CDRW in Win2K

How do I format a CDRW in Win2k? When I select the drive
and click file, I do not have an option to format. Even
right-clicking on it does not show an option to format.

Windows 2000 does not have any CD/CDRW writing capabilities. Install
some writing/burning software for the CDRW and you fix the "problem".

Packet-writing software which would allow you to format a CD-RW includes
"Roxio DirectCD" and "Ahead InCD," among others.

Any suggestions? The software that came with our Sony
unit (BSCLIP) doesn't solve the problem entirely. We can
do everything but run Windows Backup.
