Format of slides change when copying and pasting from 2 presentati

Hi,

I needed to make a large number of changes to a PowerPoint presentation; I
divided up the work among coworkers; 1 person would take care of changes on
slides 1-10; another the changes on slides 11-20. We started working from
two compies of the same document. When my coworker was done I went to copy
and past his updated slides 11-20 into my document that had updated slides
1-10. However, when the I did this the formatting of the slides I pasted in
changed drastically: all the fonts and font sizes changed, some of the colors
changed too. This made the slides such a mess that it wasn't worth using the
work my coworker did. Any ideas on why this happened and what to do about it?

The slide master is being reapplied.

See http://www.echosvoice.com/multipletemplates.htm for some possible
workarounds.
