how to copy and paste an instance slide?

Hello. I would like to copy and paste the same slide several times,
because I have the same index slide in 10 different slides in the same
presentation. Whenever I have to change it, I have to search it
throughout all the 700 slides!!
Isn't it possible to paste the slide as a reference to the original,
so whenever I change one, then the others update by themselves? I use
power point 2002. Thanks

In that case, you really should create a custom show and re-insert the same
slide 10 times in your custom show. When you change that single slide, all 10
instances in the custom show will change.
