Can you ask someone at Fujitsu to help you with the tools Fujitsu offers on
its web site?

I don't think that you've posted your question to the best possible
newsgroup, but...

Under the XP Help and Support Center, read how to create am MS-DOS startup
disk.

(The short version: insert a floppy in your drive. Right click on the floppy
drive, select "format". On the window that opens, check the "create an
MS-DOS startup disk" box.)

I suggest that you copy the Fujitsu utility to the floppy. Print a copy of
the text file included in the .zip file so have it on hand.

Change your BIOS settings to boot from the floppy drive first.

Boot from the floppy. Follow the instructions.

Myself, I'd probably boot from the XP installation CD. It has the basic
tools to partition and format the HD.

Good luck.

Address scrambled. Replace nkbob with bobkn.

if you have a recovery console disk, insert it, if you
don't have one , the go to the command prompt & type:
format/? or you can type: chkdsk/? or you can type:
recover/?

Download a boot disk from bootdisk.com. Make the bootdisk.
Extract the fjerase.zip to the bootdisk. Boot with the disk into
DOS. Type fjerase and follow the instructions. I used the DRDOS
flash disk for this on my Fujitsu drive.
good luck
