My 2000 pro install is corrupt and I want to reformat the
hard drive and reinstall 2000 pro.

A bit rusty on the steps, what I have to gather first,
etc. appreciate and cheat sheets out there.

Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]

Just boot from the 2k CD and follow the prompts. You can destroy/recreate
the existing partition.

Boot off of the CD, eventually you will see the partition you installed it
on first, press the D key, enter and L, then press enter on the empty space

All you need to gather is your key and CD, really. Any special drivers you
might want to have available as well
