format background doesn't stay

Hi everyone
Im doing a school project and im having a ppt issue.
I have a good background that we like, but its very bold - so we only want
it at full scale for the title page, then we made it at 75% transparency for
the rest of the slides - but even after we save it and re-open it, all the
slides are at full color again!! And if you change all the slides to 75%
transparency and save, it still does the same thing - is there any way to
save the formatted background???

You need to say which version of PowerPoint you have.

Also did you add the pictures to the master ?
