Format a slave hard drive?

How do I format a new hard drive as a slave in XP? I have
the HD installed and BOIS sees new HD ok. If I need a boot
disk, How do I make a XP boot disk?

Right click on My Computer and select Manage.

On the following screen, click on Disk Management.

The slave drive should appear on the right hand side of the screen, from
where you can partition it, format it and assign it a drive letter.
