Form Has embedded wrong email address

I created a FORM on a Contact page. When it is submitted to my clients web
based mail account it is always delivered with the same "From" e-mail"
address which is incorrect. This always happens no matter what computer you
are working from, or any ISP. (always shows as being sent from an old e-mail
account that I had that is no longer used). Somehow this OLD email has been
embedded on my contact page, or in the form itself, and I cannot find it.
All cache cleared, all temp files, and cookies. All form properties checked.
All "Find" embedded data or objects checked.

Any ideas how to elimminate this old email from my page is greatly
appreciated.

The From email address used by the FP Form Handler is set by your web host. You need to contact them
to change it.

I am attempting that now.and have a "ticket" submitted with my SERVER. There
have been several other issues re: this "form" page that has had me going in
circles and I too believe it must be my Hosting server.
Thank you for your reply.I must agree at this point in time.will let you
know if something different is discovered.

?

.._..

Tell them;

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Administrative tools. Double click
"Microsoft Sharepoint Administrator" Log in with administrator account, on
the list find the site name (on the left), then click on 'Administer' on the
right. Then, "change configuration settings" and change the "from" and
"reply to" address.

That will either instruct them on what to do, or make them look stupid
enough that they are shamed into doing the job.

NOTE however, depending on what SMTP server is used, you may or may not be
allowed to send mail from it with various addresses. Email addresses are
often set certain ways in there for very good reasons that you, and your
host do not have any control over. You may have to simply put up with
whatever is in there.

(Have them check to see what the SMTP server is, if it is "localhost" you
can put any email in there you want, if not, you may have restrictions.)

..._.. Thanks,
AS of late last night...they seem to have changed the email to my current
settings. But the real test will be if random visitors that reply to the
contact page will each have a "unique" e-mail or will it still show being
received as my email!

Step two. Now if they can fix my "second" clients site from having their
form mail come in as a "bounce-back from 'hosting-server'.com instead of the
senders own unique e-mail address. by the way, no, the web mail is not over
loaded or full .this is just how each unique mail comes in.

My new web site I am designing will not be with this same "un-named" server
till I am sure they have worked out these problems. The customer support is
great.however the technical problems they have make me think they are just
not up to par any longer. These pages have been running for 4-7 years
respectively, and I just think it's time to try a new host.

Thanks for your reply!

P.S.
Not to sound like I am spamming a site here.but if someone would like to
help me troubleshoot by submitting my form on the contacts page.just put
"test" in the message body.then click on submit at
cmelectricalcontractors.com/contacts.htm

Thanks! It is greatly appreciated

When using FrontPage extensions to process form data, the From address
in an email will always be the address configured in the extensions.
The Reply-to address will be the correspondents address, provided you
have set up the form to use their address from a field in the form.

Done - but the form will not work. You have not configured the Reply
to in the form properties (on the email results tag). You should also
configure a subject as well. Some servers will bounce an email without
a subject - could be the problem on your other site.
