Hi folks,
my nephew has an IBM Thinkpad 600e which he has inherited from
his father. He did not use often, and his son decided to set uyp windows 200
on it. In the process he installed a password which he now cannot remember.
How can he re-access the machine assuming he will not remember the
password.? How can I acces the BIOS otherwise. Thanks in advance. John

Unfortunatley this call for a format. This will be the
quickest way to get back up and running. You can access
the system BIOS as soon as you reboot the system press F1.
Nothing can be done from the BIOS to fix this.

Hi,
the main reason for looking to access the bios is to tell the laptop to
boot from the cd.......no 3.5 floppy drive fitted. from there there files
may be backed up and the disk formatted.
