Forgot Sys Admin Password

Iv forgotten my sys admin password, and now im just using a limited account
that iv setup for my bother. all my files and folders are in the sys admin
account. Is there any way i can get into my account without formatting the
HDD or erasing any of my folders? i still remember the old passwords for this
account if thats going to help.

Please help.

You can use a boot from annother SO (windows XP in other computer, linux, or
Instalation CD of Windows XP) and delete the file c:\windows\system32\SAM,
all passwords will be set in blank.

Someone posted the "MCSE World" link which itself links to

This tool has worked for me on at least 3 XP systems. Carefully read through the
questions (you should be able to accept most of the defaults) and opt to blank
the password with '*'. After that, make sure you expicitly tell the program to
write the changes to disk, then reboot.
