Forgot Password - Cant log into Win XP even in safe mode

I have forgotten the password (or what I thought it was
isnt working) for logging into Windows XP. Can anyone
help me with how to fix. Ive tried going in through Safe
Mode but it still prompts me for a password.
I need to access the laptop immediately because Im going
away on the weekend. Help!!
