Greetings,
We are currently running about 50 Windows XP stations in a educational
computer lab environment.
All stations are part of a domain running under a Windows 2000 Adv. Server
PDC.
We would like to be able to force a "interactive login" from a central
teacher PC.
When we have young kids coming in, who cannot log in, we would like to have
the teacher perform the logins from a central point.
Case Scenario:
- All workstations are logged out.
- A teacher sends a "login" command through the network, effectively logging
in a user on all the workstations and starting their sessions (profile,
etc).
After reading up on all of this, I'm a little lost as to where we should
start.
Can this be done through the framework?
Do we need to create a custom authentication package? Replace GINA with our
own?
Any pointers or recommendations would be appreciated.
