Slow login on work stations

We just setup a new server running win 2k server (our
only server) and are expereincing very slow login on all
work stations (all running XP Pro). All machines are
running through a Linksys unmanaged switch. We are using
active directory. Any idea of why the login takes so long
(in some cases over 3 minutes)?

Make sure all workstations and server NICs are locked down at a particular
speed/duplex setting - don't use autosense. Does that help?
