Forcing a re-read of a CD/DVD Directory

Frequently if I explore several CD's or DVD's, Win Explorer will
continue to show the identical Label and directory info irrespective
of the individual media in the drive. neither a programatic or manual
eject will cause the system to re-read the directory contents. How do
I "flush" the old data and get the new? Thanks for any assistance.

Try the F5 key and see if that helps.

Make sure the Autorun entery is in place to update disk change notification.

The AutoRun feature or the AutoPlay feature does not work when you
insert a CD-ROM in the drive
