We have a lot of powerpoint problems with formatting being pasted in from
other docs... is it possible to force the text being pasted in to have the
'keep text only' attribute ?

I find that the simplest thing is to keep a copy of Notepad open.

Paste into Notepad, then copy and paste from there into PPT.

Hi Steve - I agree and I use this all the time for my applications.

The problem is the users within the firm, they wont do this - we 'lock' down
as much as possible to make things idiot proof here...

Can something be written to do this ?

Just try "PureText". I suppose you can download it for free

There are apps like the one Jean-Pierre mentions but I don't know that there's
any way to force the issue from within PPT itself.

Thaks - thats great, that will be of help to me.

If I can find a way of doing this in VB I will let you know.
