Steve...the commands you replied with in my other post didn't work.
It said: 'global command failed on IPv4 the request operation requires
elevation'

I am using a wireless router. Email worked before using this. This error
comes up


The host 'mail' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Account: 'mail', Server: 'mail', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL):
No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

I would appreciate any other suggestions you have...

The error message is mostly self-explanatory.
The name "mail" is invalid for a server name.
Get the proper server name from your ISP's support site.

In addition to Gary's comments, you need to run the CMD prompt as
Administrator. Right click on the CMD shortcut to do that.
