Selling this for a lady friend due to her being a little skint and she needs the funds to settle a debt..

Its a Medion MIM2120 Notebook

Windows XP Home SP2 with Licence
15.4" screen
Intel celeron 1.30GHZ
40GB hard drive
256MB Ram
DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW DL
Onboard Intel Graphics
Power Adaptor
2 USB
1 VGA PORT
1 10/100
1 56K MODEM PORT
1 PCMCIA

Comes with Medion operating system installation CD
Application and Support disc

The notebook is in good nick no knocks or scratches to the outer casings and the screen is unmarked..She has owned it from new for nearly 3 years but hasn't really used it a great deal only for typing the odd letter and spreadsheet work.

Just took a look on Crucial and an extra 1GB of memory is just £14.68 inc VAT which would make this fly (poor little thing been running on just 256mb of ram since birth, but has performed surprisingly well on that so imagine an extra 1GB ram)
I will format fresh and clean for the new owner..

I think she's looking for offers in the region of £100-£150 plus postage.
It will also be listed on eBay but thought I would post here first

I would probably upgrade the memory before you put it on ebay.

Just a suggestion

I was thinking that as well.

If it's only fifteen quid to put in a gig of ram, you'll probably make more than that on the sale.

And leave it at agig, discard the 256Mb, people are wary of unusual RAM amounts, somehow 1 Gig sounds better than 1.25 Gig.

With a gig of RAM, it's easily worth £130.00, so advertise for £150.00 and accept £130.00, this means you'll have made £115.00 on the sale after the RAM purchase.

Just my suggestion, feel free to disagree but that's how I see it :)

Cheers for the advice Flopp's but its not my lappy I'm just advertising it for her, I don't have the time as I'm to busy to mess about with other peoples PC's at the moment..
I did tell her that the lack of memory would severely impede the price but she didn't seem to bothered she just wants a quick sale..

Private sale

Soon as they saw it they bought it..I knew it was worth the asking price as specs alone don't make a sale, I said it was like new and the condition coupled with a ram upgrade of just £14.62 meant it was going to fly as soon as someone laid eyes on it..

Twas a bargain..
