Footnotes to endnotes

I have a Word 2000 document with some 30 footnotes (a few footnotes at the
bottom of each page). I'd like to change these footnotes to endnotes, i.e.
move them all to the end of this document. Is there an easy way to do this
job? Or shall I copy each footnote and re-enter it as endnote?
Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi Ilya

from the menu choose
Insert / Footnotes
click the OPTIONS button
and then click the CONVERT button (took me eons to find it - its at the
bottom right of the screen where the OPTION button was in the previous
step!)
