Fonts problem in WinXP SP2 desktop

«

«ia»

I'm running WinXP with SP2. In applications, I can see and use several
dozen fonts, but when I try to set fonts for the appearance of the desktop
(Desktop Properties/Appearance/Advanced), only seven fonts are listed as
options (e.g., when I try to set fonts of icon names on the desktop). On
another computer running WinXP/SP2 all fonts are available for the desktop
settings. Any suggestions? Thanks.

IO would try changing Theme, and if no help, To repair all system files, go
to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
