After a clean install of Windows XP (service pack 2) some fonts in internet
explorer seems smudged and blurred. The fonts in question are the bold ones.
Examples: when you open yahoo.com the fonts in the text ''web search'' and
''sign in'' ''sign up'', or the highligted text in search results from
yahoo.com.

I seem to have all the fonts in Xp. Did a new font install, from the copied
font file in the computer. (controll panel > fonts> install from file
install fonts. There were some missing in XP and they got installed.

Have tried the clear type tuner too. This doesn't help at all.

I have tried most of the solutions given on font issues here on the forum
too. Did some driver updates and failed too. After doing some mistakes
thought that a clean install may help. And now after 5-6 clean installs :(
and using almost 3 days on this I am fed up. Thought maybe somebody can help.
