Hello,

For our graphics on the target, we would need to use a couple of the
fonts that used to be available in the MS TrueType Font Pack (Arial
Narrow for instance), which used to be downloadable for free. These
fonts are also commonly found in many MS products, such as Office.

The embedding property for those fonts is "Installable Embedding
Allowed", which means that the font "may be embedded in documents and
permanently installed on the remote system". If we embed such a font in
a document -say a readme file-, does it mean that we then have the right
to put that document on our target & therefore install the font on it?

thanks!

Yes & No. If you embed the font in a document, it cannot be used by
a third party for some other purpose. If you embed the font in a
document, you do not need to "install" the font on a target machine.
Therefore you MAY embed the font AND the Document on the target, but
you may Not install the font. - RM
