Just Curious when this anomaly happens if you Goto
View > Text Size > I would bet it is set to smaller.
If you change this to medium it will temporarily fix the
problem.

Note this setting changes at random.
Also another fix is Goto
Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility > Ignore font
sizes.

This has been recommended but as a web developer this
causes all kinds of problems. You can't view web pages
with the font that you size specify.

The view > Text Size setting needs a Lock put on it.
Believe it or not I have suffered an eye injury because
of this setting and that is why I even bothered writing
this post

The font gets smaller and at first you just get closer to
the screen and closer and closer until your eyes are
burned out of your head from the heat of the monitor.

Does anyone have a solution to the mysterious changing of
the text size setting in IE.

Hopefully this will get fixed before I get back from the
eye doctor.

From Alan Edwards:

If View-Text Size does not stick....

---solution 1
If you are using Eudora 4.2 or greater then use Tools-Options-Viewing
Mail and uncheck "Use Microsoft's viewer"
It is Eudora that is setting the IE text size and unchecking that
option will stop it.

The key that Eudora 4.x will change is this:
[HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\International\Scripts\3]
"IEFontSize"=hex:02,00,00,00

---solution 2
In Outlook 2000 go to Tools/Options/Mail Format/Fonts/International
Fonts, and for each font
change the "Font Size" entry to your desired size.
