Font size on incomming mail

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to change the font size on incomming
email?
or how can I change the font settings for my inbox?

I notice on my copy of Outlook 2003 the font size box is grayed out for
incoming messages... however it still works if i hold Control [Ctrl] and
scroll the mouse wheel (Down for bigger | Up for smaller)

I don't want to have to change the font each time I read an email. I want to
set it and be done.
