Font size, Grammer check, Scanner

The default font size is set at 10 and I would like to
change the default size to 12. How do I do that?

My spell check is working fine but my grammer check is not
working at all. How can I fix that?

When I download my Visioneer scanner, my printer stops
working. Then I have to uninstall the scanner and
reinstall the printer. I think the scanner and printer are
trying to share the same location. How do I name a
separate folder/location for the scanner only?

There's a special place in heaven for anyone who can help me.

What scanner, what printer, have you checked their sites, and how are they
attached?
