Font control

HI,
After loading a new application I found, without warning, that I had >1000 fonts
installed. I have an older version of FontNav which does work with XP Pro. After about
30 minutes, I had reduced the installed fonts to <300.

I then searched for the font location in XP Pro. When I opened that file, all 1000 +
fonts were reinstalled.

Is there an application that will allow me to reduce the font list and then save it to
export to other systems to keep the font list synchronized with each other?

simply deleting the font files from the font folder should be ok. Or you
can create a FontNav program folder and move those fonts out of the system
folder into the program folder.

If the are getting reinstalled, it is likely due to a program you are
running that is installing them over again..... You might have to open that
old program and find an option that disables the installation of all the
fonts or only those you want and or build.
