Default dialog box font

What is the default font that is used for labels, tabs, etc. in dialog boxes?
I had a problem with Adobe Photoshop recently, and to fix it I had to copy
all my fonts in C:\Windows\Fonts to a temporary folder, delete all the fonts
from C:\Windows\Fonts, and then reinstall all the fonts. This solved the
Photoshop problem, but ever since that time, many of the dialog boxes in
programs I use (such as Adobe Acrobat and Adobe FrameMaker) use a larger font
size for text box labels, tab labels, etc. This means that text is sometimes
truncated or covered by another control. I would like to get the size back to
what it was before. I'm using Win XP Pro.

Right-click your desktop | properties | appearance tab | advanced button,
you can customize your dialog boxes in this area. Font size is usually set
to 'Normal'.
