We use powerpoint for the words to songs we sing. When we paste slides into
a presentation they revert to Times New Roman even though they are saved in
their own file as Arial. I have to go over each slide and change it back to
Arial. Is there any way to stop Powerpoint from changing my slides when
pasted?

Click anywhere OFF the current slide to make sure nothing's selected.
Choose Format, Font or use the formatting toolbar to choose the font and size
you want.

That sets the default font; from now on new text boxes will have the font you
chose.

Does that do it? If not, describe where your text is coming from (what type of
file) and the *exact* sequence of steps you use to get it into PPT.
