How can i keep the font i want in powerpoint.

My presentation needs to be arial bold 16 whenever i go to a new slide and
insert text box the font goesback to arial 18 is there a way i can keep the
font i want for all new text boxes without changing the font back each time?

Is this PPT 2003?
You have to set the format of textboxes separately.
Create a new text box. Format it exactly the way that you want. Right-click
it - choose Default for new objects - OK. All new text boxes should now
behave in this presentation.
