Font changes from Mac to PC

Hello,

I have a Mac G4 with operating system 10.3.8. I have the Adobe Acrobat
version for OSX. I have 2 problems:

1) I am inserting powerpoint slides into a word doc. I convert the word doc
to PDF. Some of the slides appear, some do not. Do you know of a fix for
this?

2) I have converted powerpoint slides created on a Mac in Arial get
converted to Times Roman on a PC . How do I prevent this from happening?

also to Public.Mac.Office.PowerPoint. Still ...

Try ungrouping/regrouping the slides after inserting them into Word.

Does it happen regularly and to all slides in a given presentation or just to
random slides on random presentations? I've seen this before or seen
situations where the slide will appear in TNR and print in Arial or vice versa.
Weird. The only fix we ever found was to re-create the slide.
