Do hyperlinks tend to break from PC to Mac?

another xplatform question (sorry guys, are you over me yet?). I'm on
PPT 2003/PC. I have a series of hyperlinks from objects/images in the
presentation out to various http websites, as well as several links
that link to slides within the same presentation.

They all work perfectly in SlideShow mode on my PC. Should I just
expect that the links will be broken when I send this deck to someone
who uses PPT2004-2008/Mac? That sucks if it's the case because I don't
currently have access to a Mac and my client is only on Mac.

Would it make a difference if something is linked as a straight
hyperlink versus an Action? One would assume hyperlinks are treated
the same way whether they are done as straight hyperlinks or through
the Action function, but assuming in PPT is never wise.

Over?  Nah.  We're behind you all the way, Pete.  ;-)

I'd assume that they'll work.  That is, as long as the Mac has a live
connection to the internet, the links to URLs should work.

The links between slides should be fine as well, though beware of adding
loads of links and watch out for links to slides with commas in the
slide title.  Those can fail to work (but they'll croak on the PC too,
so you'll know in advance).

In some cases it works the same, in others not quite, but either way, it
shouldn't break.

thanks steve! it appears to have worked fine. thanks again!
