Folders View

Starting today, when I click on "Folders" at the top of Windows Explorer, the
bar on the left that shows options such as delete this file, move, copy, etc.
and the image previes no longer show. The left pane extends all the way over.
Does this have something to do with Office Picture Manager?
 
Start > Control Panel > Tools > Folder Options, is "Show Common Tasks"
checked?
 
No, but a panel appears at the top of the right-hand pane titled either
"Picture Tasks" or "Files and Folders Tasks" depending on which I select on
the left.
