Has anyone run in to the problem in W2K where the left
pane of Windows Explorer is greyed out? I have googled
this and found a bunch of stuff (all of which I have
tried with no joy). I'm running Norton AV corporate,
have run Adaware, spybot, cwshredder, to no avail. Also
tried a couple of documented registry hacks that didn't
work either. Has anyone had this problem and come up
with another solution? I'm about ready to reformat and
rebuild my SQL server if I can't develop a solution.

Ron,

Does Add/Remove Programs work? I ask because sometimes whe having the issue with the All Folders window being
grayed out Add/Remove Programs will not work either.

If you haven't already they the following commands to see if they help:

REGSVR32 MSHTML.DLL /i
REGSVR32 SHDOCVW.DLL /i
REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL /i
