Folders opening slowly

I have a problem with my folders opening slowly. My computer folder opens
slowly and when I try to save files in WordPerfect, there is like a 1 minute
delay before the folder will open. As well, when I try to attach an e-mail
attachement, there is also a delay in the folder opening. Any assistance
would be greatly appreciated as it is quite frustrating.

This happened to me and I had to do a total system recovery. Not much fun.
