Folders not sharing at Desktop

Hi,
I am using win xp pro(sp2), In the desktop the folders not able to sharing,
the option for sharing is disabled.
But other drives C,D,E folder are able to share.
Please give a good solution.

I believe this is a standard feature if the drive is NTFS, and has the
default permissions.

Why? Not sure. It's probably not a good policy to do this anyway, so there
is one reason ;-)

Control Panel>Folder Options>View tab
Disable Simple Sharing and you will be able to share those folders.
