Is there a way to make a folder, or use a folder that exists on our server
in a project directory, to have outlook save emails to. I can create
folders under my inbox obviously but can i make those folders be external?
(to outlook)

Thanks
John Gray

Hope that made sence.....

Do you mean you want Outlook to do this with a rule?

No not nessisarily. I just want to have folders in outlook that are really
folder that sit on a different drive, maybe a different server for each
project. Everytime we get an email regarding a project we are supposed to
save it off into the project directory, andif that folder was available thru
outlook then i could just drag and drop it in outlook or possibly craete a
rule.

Windows file system objects, like folders, cannot be added into Outlook's
interface. Nothing, however, preventds you from opening any Windows folder
you like in Windows Explorer and then dragging one or more messages from
Outlook to that folder.
