move email folders

We recently installed Outlook 2007. I opened our old 2002 pst in Outlook
2007. I would like to move only the emails related to our current projects
into a new 2007 pst. The emails are sorted into folders by project.

Can I safely drag-and-drop the 2002 pst emails into the 2007 pst?

thank you,
Nycerbarb

More or less safe. However, things can happen. If you make a backup copy
of both PST files before you begin, you will be 100% safe.

P.S. right-click drag-and-drop lets you select between Move and Copy.

It's perfectly safe.

Also. Holding down CTRL while dragging makes a copy, while not holding it
down (normal drag) moves it. This is true with almost anything that can be
dragged in any Windows program.
