Folder visible via OWA but not in Outlook!

Hello,
This morning one of my users reported some of her Outlook items "missing."
I went to have a look at her computer and indeed the folders she was looking
for were not there. I had the user do a search, and some of her mail items
came up in the search results, in the folder she said they were in but I
could not see this folder anywhere in her Outlook folder list. When I view
the properites of the mailbox, in particular the check the folder size, the
"missing" folder appears in the list along with it's current size. When I
log in to OWA as the user I can see the folders that were not visible from
within Outlook.
The only thing that may have been a little "unusual" is that these folders
were created underneath the user's Inbox folder.
Although I worked around this issue I was hoping someone would enlighten me
as to the cause.
Thanks!

Is this a mail folder? Try restting your cache by renaming the ost-file for
the profile to .old
