folder views

In Win 98', Subfolders appeared on top of the files/icons
in a directory. This remains in XP, However, when
seleting to view the files by 'date'(Newest on top) the
98' subfolders remain on top. Now in XP, the subfolders
are now on the bottom when selecting the same viewing
option. Anyway to have the subfolders back on top of the
files when viewing by 'date' newest to oldest?
