Explorer Display Bug?

Open windows explorer and click view-details.
In windows 98 when i click on date to display newest
files first, explorer would show the subfolders FIRST,
then it would list the files. In Win XP, the files are
listed most recent to oldest THEN all of the the folders
are listed. Is there a way to keep the folders at the
top of the list and then display the files after that
sorted by most recent first?
