Explorer/file problem

In XP I was able arrange my files with days taken, size, JPG/PPT/DOC files
in a same group, etc.

Now I have hundrets of jpg ptotos in a same folder. Those photos doesn't
belong to any of my subfolders. I'd like to find quicly (fast) photos I took
today, but problem is, that I have several memorycards. It wasn't any
promlem in XP, because in only one clock I was able to get the newest or
oldest on a top (or in a bottom).

I can't find out if I can still do in in a Vista's Explorer.

There are different new ways to arrange the photos, I know, for example the
calendar, but If I can't remerber the date, when I visited in some new city
in a last summer. In XP it was so easy, when all the photos where from
newest to oldest or vise verce.

Sorry about my bad english :-(

Your description isn't very good, but you can arrange files, sorted by date
taken. You can use Windows Photo Gallery to do many groupings you may want.
