Folder Tasks are wrong

I know this is incredibly picky but In the "My Pictures"
window the left side tasks show the "Music tasks"
options. In the "My Music" folder I get the
standard "Files and Folders Tasks" options. Sub-folders
all behave properly. Just been bugging me for sometime on
how to orient the tasks with the proper folder....Any
thoughts?

While moving files, you probably answered yes to allow a copy of a
desktop.ini to occur and it replaced the existing file. Folder
customizations are recorded in that file.

You could start fresh by creating new document and music folders. Then
right click on each and select Customize. The desktop.ini for the folder
type will be created for you.

Or take a look at the "Folders" section of MVP Kelly's site where Douglas
Thrift's *.INI files are posted for the shell folders (shell folders = My
Document, My Music, etc). Use the examples to repair desktop.ini or to
create a new file. NOTE: Change the owner line to reflect the appropriate
account name (yours) instead of using Douglas' names as shown in the
examples.

Click Start/Run and type: rundll32 mydocs.dll,PerUserInit

This rebuilds the Desktop.ini files for these two folders. If that does not solve the problem, read below:

The folder type setting is stored in the registry, sometimes it becomes mismatched. Open a folder. Click Tools, Folder Options, View, Reset All Folders.

Note that this also resets the customizations for all the folders. If you want to do it only for the particular folder, you may need to use Process Explorer or Regmon. See this URL for more information:
