Folder Structures

Hi, I'm using Windows XP and id like to change the way folders behave.
Currently if you go up one level from my documents it will take you to the
desktop. it should really take me to my area in documents and settings. How
do i set up the computer to take me up one level to the real folder that
contains the one i just came from. Hope i haven't confused people too much,
thanks.

If this is at all possible it should be done with some registry setting.
Instead of asking in a .NET programmers newsgroup,might I suggest you post
this question in a group dedicated to Windows XP?
