Folder settings

It seems Windows XP Pro/Home SP1 on my machine(s) like to
forget to arrange items the way I want or forget to keep
the details I want such as created, or modified in the
right click arrange by menu. I used a script that was
suppost to help Windows remember but I don't believe it
helped much. Does any one have any suggestions?

Download and install the fix to make xp "remember" more than 400 folders.

Then, in explorer, set your view as you like and go to: tools, folder
options, view tab, apply to all folders.
