Folder Sahring - Access Denied

Following a "disk crash" I reformatted my C: partition and
reinstalled Windows XP Pro and all my applications.
Problem now is that the datafiles on my D: partition
cannot be accessed as the ware not shared between the to
original users on my PC, i.e. my wife and myself.

When I try to share them with the "new" users defined
after reinstallation, I get the message "An error occured
while trying to share xxxxx. Access denied".

What do I need to do to get to my files again? Any and all
help appreciated.
 
This newsgroup is dedicated to security issues concerning MS Access, the
database product. You would probably get better answers in a newsgroup
devoted to XP Pro or hardware problems.
