folder list stuck on desktop

I can usually figure this stuff out but I need help. Last night, I was
moving files around on my deskeop and for some reason, while quickly
clicking, I ended up with an "exploded view" of folder options that you would
see on the side bar of MyDocuments, MyComputer...etc. I cannot grab it
anywhere to close it, move it...it is stuck. It has moved everything on my
desktop over, even recentered my wallpaper picture. This side explosion
changes on everything that I click. Let's say I clicked on the Recycle Bin,
the information about it would display on this side bar. I cannot move icons
around, even though they are not locked....help? Anyone know what I am
talking about or how to get it removed?
