folder keeps refreshing

I have a folder with several gigs of mp3s. Whenever I'm messing about in
there it keeps refreshing. It will flash and come back scrolled to the top.
It does this at random intervals.
I'm running XP home, nvidia, p4, 512mbRam.

Both links are dead right now, but from what I gather they concern more of a
monitor problem. My problem is just with the one folder. The files are
refreshing (that's an awkward sentence, hehe) not the screen.
